Questions & answers

Everything patients ask us before they book.

If your question isn't here, ask it on a free 15-minute discovery call — that's exactly what the call is for.

Getting started

How do I become a patient?+

Start with a free 15-minute discovery call. It's a conversation, not a commitment — we listen to what's going on, explain which of our services may be a fit, and tell you honestly if we're not the right place for you.

Do you take insurance?+

We are a concierge practice and services are generally self-pay. Pricing is discussed openly before anything is scheduled, so there are no surprises. Ask on your discovery call and we'll walk you through the options.

Do you offer a discount for veterans?+

Yes — veterans and active-duty service members receive 10% off all services. Just mention your status when you book.

Where are you located?+

We serve Winter Park, Oviedo and Winter Springs in Central Florida, and provide telehealth to patients in Florida, New York, Kentucky, Virginia, Maryland, Colorado and Washington.

Can everything be done virtually?+

Some services — including consultations, mental wellness support and oral ketamine care — can be delivered by telehealth in the states we're licensed in. In-office services such as IV therapy and shockwave therapy require a visit.

Ketamine therapy

What is ketamine therapy?+

Ketamine is a long-established medication used under provider supervision as part of an individualized care plan. In our practice it is always paired with screening, monitoring and follow-up — never handed out on its own.

Am I a candidate?+

That's what the consultation determines. We review your history, current medications and goals, and we will tell you if ketamine is not appropriate for you.

What does a session feel like?+

Experiences vary from person to person. We explain what to expect beforehand, stay with you through the session, and debrief afterwards. Shaun's book KETAMIND walks through the process in detail.

Do I need someone to drive me?+

Yes. For in-office sessions you'll need a responsible adult to take you home afterwards, and you should not drive or operate machinery for the rest of the day.

IV & shockwave therapy

What's in an IV drip?+

Formulas are chosen after your consultation based on provider recommendations — there's no one-size-fits-all menu item you're pushed into.

How long does an IV appointment take?+

Most visits run between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the formula. You'll be seated in a comfortable chair the whole time.

What is shockwave therapy?+

A non-invasive procedure that uses focused acoustic energy to support the body's own healing response in a targeted area. No needles, no incisions, no downtime.

How many shockwave sessions will I need?+

It depends on the area treated and how you respond. Your provider will lay out a suggested course at your assessment and adjust it as you progress.

Mental wellness & safety

Do you provide crisis or emergency care?+

No. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911 right away. Our practice does not provide emergency services.

Who provides counseling?+

Mental wellness support is provided by Tyler Baso, M.S.C.M.H.C, a registered mental health counselor intern.

Is my information private?+

Yes. Your health information is handled confidentially in line with applicable privacy law. Our privacy policy explains how information submitted through this site is used.

Still unsure? Get in touch and we'll answer honestly, even if the answer is that we're not the right fit.
